URGENT HELP! DONATIONS NEEDED – PLEASE SHARE
We need urgent help. We have been working day and night for the past week due to the devastating fires in our area. Roads in either direction have been blocked off and evacuation is out the question, so we have been forced to bunker down and protect our Sanctuary and help our neighbours.
For days the fires have been raging in all directions. We have moved our animals into the safest parts of the Sanctuary and a lot of our neighbours have come to us for emergency accommodation for their furry loved ones in their time of need.
While we’ve prayed for safety at our Sanctuary, many of our volunteers have been called out to fight the fires as RFS volunteers.
Those volunteers have fought bravely in the face of the horrific threat posed by the fires, and their contributions to the area and our Sanctuary have been invaluable.
O ur resources have been spread incredibly thin and we are struggling to maintain our firefighting efforts while still ensuring that the neglected, mistreated and abandoned animals that now call us their home.
are cared for and protected from the heat, drought, smoke and threat of bushfire.
It really pains our heart but we need to let you know how bad the situation is out there. We have tossed and turned all week not knowing what to do and even though today is Boxing Day it has gotten to the stage where we need your urgent help.
We are in desperate need of urgent food for our animals, reinforcements to our fencing and housing, vehicles and fuel and other necessities in order to keep our Sanctuary going. It’s crisis time for our rescue.
We are pleading for your help. We receive no government funding, none at all and to be honest, this is our desperate cry for your help.
We need to raise $50,000 tonight.
$20 will help fund food for one animal for a day.
Can you donate just $5? It’s just the cost of your next cup of coffee in the morning but one that will help save a live and give us and our animals in our care hope. It will be the best $5 you have spent on anyone this week.
Can you answer our call? Can you answer the call of our animals crying out for help?
